I realized I didn’t post this earlier. But I saw Alex Hirsch the other day! He was at a Barnes and Noble in San Diego (which I’m in for Comic Con, ha) and while I sadly was unable to get a ticket for an autograph, I did stop by to see him at least. And then, the next day, I went back to pick up a copy of The Book of Bill that he’d signed, since I know Barnes and Noble sometimes has extras they sell the next day. It’s a little disappointing it’s only his initials, but I get he prolly didn’t want to sign hundreds of stickers with his full signature, ha. And I have his full signature on a Stan and Bill toy box that someone who was a fan of my FB page sent me years ago, so it’s not like I don’t have anything with his signature.

Overall, it was neat to see him, even if I didn’t get to interact with him. :-)

I’ve seen a few people in recent times being all like “don’t assume dnp to be anything but best friends unless they say it outright they’re a couple you’re making them uncomfortable” or whatever and I can’t help but think… switch out one of them for a girl. If this were a het pair we were looking at I bet these people wouldn’t hesitate to think differently.

Take all the 2009 tweets/dailybooths, the vday vid, the living together for years, going on vacations together, having all the traditions & jokes they have. All the times Dan goes to see Phil’s family. The fact they’ve never been around another human enough for anyone to assume they have a different partner (who they’d never have time for anyway when dnp literally make a big deal of how much time they spend together) Dan literally confirming their relationship was more than romantic (at least at some point) in his coming out video. The double dates they go on with other confirmed couples. How casually they’re talked about as a pair by other people/YouTubers. Slip ups confirming ‘the bed’ ‘the bedroom’ ‘don’t worry guys only I saw Phil’s butt in the mirror not the people on my zoom call” it being known they stayed in a place with 2 bedrooms with another couple in Australia. Posing for naked photos together. One being a literal biological uncle and the other one literally being referred to as a uncle too by the baby’s mother.

The genuine love and affection they have for each other. The way they can’t shut up about the other. Being each others biggest fans. The way they have talked hypothetically about getting a pet together (and had a bloody fish) and the main kicker…. Literally been thinking and designing a FOREVER HOME together since 2017 and now live in it. Together. 😱

If this was a girl & boy no one would think different but bc it’s 2 men people be like… we’ll actually they never said it explicitly so blah blah blah. What a weird heteronormative world some still live in

genuinely yeah. a huge part of it is just straight up homophobia, but i think the average person who doesn't really pay attention to them/is completely unfamiliar with them DOES actually look at all that and take away the idea that they're a couple at this point in time.

i think an aspect of it with people who are the most vehemently "they're just friends" is like. a lot of the time that's coming from people who did follow them at some point in time, who were involved with the fandom—and who now are acting from a place of shame and unfettered cringe over their past actions & making that everyone else's problem.

sometimes it is really funny to me when people Just Don't Get It though like... dan and phil aren't FOR them. it's not about people who don't get it and that's not the audience dan and phil are prioritizing. and i'm utterly fucking delighted for them that they've pulled off this level of ambiguity for so long even after coming out.

I love the resurgence of the Madoka Magica fandom with the anniversary of Magia Record and the upcoming news of the newest movie! The tags are filled with beautiful art and ideas.

To celebrate my magical girl brain rot coming back, I organized a shelf for some of my PMMM merch.

These certainly aren’t all my items. I also have a pmmm purse collection and paintings around my home. This series fills me with endless love, and it makes me so happy to see others also love it!

I haven't even read JtHM yet, but when I saw a signed copy of Squee's Wonderful Big Giant Book of Unspeakable Horrors up for sale on Topatoco, I simply had to snag it, lol.

(Not sure what that "V" is, but I like it. It's unique. Adds character. :P)

Finally got all my celebrity autographs from over the years put up in my apartment (alongside my other art and whatnot) and they are so varied. Some of these I’ve had since I was a little kid! I only wish I still had mine from the Mythbusters, TAPS, Michael Winslow, LeVar Burton, and David Prowse. Not sure where any of that stuff went. But hey- what I have right now is still cool!

My dad just published his first collection of short stories (he's over 80, it's never too late). 🙌

Anyway, I stopped by to get some garden tomatoes and a copy of his book. "I'll sign it for you." he tells me, all proud. He starts writing, and then stops. "You spell your name like this, right?" Me and my mom both give him a disturbed look.

My mom starts yelling at him, "You filled out her birth certificate!" He gives an exhasperated sigh, and swipes the sharpie across the page, crossing out my misspelled name. "You can't give your daughter a copy with her misspelled name crossed out!" she says. He shrugs, grabs the page, and rips it out. By the time he hands me the book, I'm almost crying from laughter.

I have the only copy without a title page, lol.

Drew this for Lucy St. Louis' departure from Phantom of the Opera back in January. Her portayal of Christine tugged at both me and my dad's heart strings, with both singing and performing! I knew I had to draw something for her when it was announced she would leave - she completely reinvigorated my love and adoration for Phantom, and that hyperfixation has been going strong for a year now!

printed this out and was able to hand this to her at the stage door back in January ❤️❤️ she was so sweet, it was wonderful seeing the actors' reaction to this piece when they signed my personal copy ❤️❤️❤️ I have so, so, so much love for Phantom!!

PLSAKF ANEIUA RIV ......... the lil silly smile.. if u ever catch him givin u that lovesick puppy eyes . it's done for. loool he gets so flustered </3 gets over it quick though he cannot keep his eyes off of you!!!!!!

but yeah.. sae definitely gives you the smallest smiles, all fond and warm and :( it's so unlike him and nothing like he's been giving other people ever before,, you're just doing it for him. albeit a bit scary - it feels brand new to be giving someone such intimate acts of affection - it only ever happens in the first place because you're making him comfortable enough, so he gets used to it and figures out he might as well just let it be :(

also.... since we have already established that sae runs cold.. he wears these simple cotton long sleeves around the house all of the time :( thin and just the slightest bit loose. they stretch along his back muscles beautifully and the fabric clings to his body as his biceps flex, or rides up whenever he stretches his arms up, shows u the waistband of his boxers that peeks out from under his grey sweatpants.................. yeah... sae n his stupid big muscles :(
